A significant milestone was recorded for India, Asia, and the region’s wider tourism landscape as eight distinguished titles were secured by Indian hotels, resorts and travel experiences at the prestigious World Travel Awards 2025. These recognitions were awarded across categories that highlight the evolving nature of luxury travel, ranging from boutique beach hideaways and opulent palace-themed destinations to transformative wellness retreats and immersive wilderness stays. The acknowledgement reinforced India’s advancing capability to deliver experiences that match global expectations while maintaining its cultural depth and environmental diversity.

Across major states and cities, properties were honoured for consistently raising the bar in hospitality design, guest experience, sustainability efforts and culturally rooted service philosophies.
