Moama Discount Bookings with Education WA

The tennis court was in poor condition if you wanted to play on it. There were cracks in the walls and paint peeling off the the bathroom. It didn't effect our stay but overall the place was a little run down.

It was close to the supermarket without using the car. I just loved seeing the family of 5 bunnies running amongst the trees in the morning and evening. Moana was a nice place to stay ,nice weather when I was there and plenty of places to dine at. For us we chose the clubs for lunch and didn’t bother with an evening meal just some fruit or light snack.

Our accommodation was opposite a pub with live music on a Saturday night- it was not the right choice for our young family who were kept awake by music, noise and patrons until nearly midnight. We needed a place to stay for just one night so our options were limited. It was a horrible night spent there on an otherwise enjoyable weekend In Echuca.

Location was terrific, amenities were great, the children had a wonderful time using the splash park and pools. The cabin was a big disappointment. Not clean no utensils, no broom or mop to clean up . As we stayed 6 days I feel these should be supplied. We did ask for them and was given them the following day. The park itself is great but the cleanliness was very poor.

Moama was probably the only place that had a pizza shop open until midnight. We were in Echuca at the Performing Arts Centre and we finish at 10.30pm at night. Yes Maccas is open but we didn't want that. I think the Moama RSL has a cafe. The only issue with Moama RSL as it doesn't recognise members from Victorian branches. The meal at the RSL was lovely. I really wanted to try the pub as well in Moama but ran out of time. In 2022 I'd stayed in Echuca and found that quite noisy compared to how quiet it was in Moama. The only issue was trying to find parking at the venue in Echuca where as the year before we could walk to it. The room in Moama was far bigger and suited our needs better. The motel also had a Type 2 car charger. As car charging is not a thing yet and type 2 chargers are hard to find (the one in Echuca doesn't support type 2) so we chose Moama because of the charger. It was easier to get drinks and food in Moama as there was a service station opposite the motel. In Echuca you'd have had to drive to a supermarket.

It was absolutely wonderful, very relaxing and peaceful. The accommodation exceeded our expectation so very comfortable and clean. We will definately recommend Moama Waters, especially for families with children as they have beautiful playgrounds and swimming pools. There is also a lovely restaurant on site. We ate at OPA a greek restaurant and really enjoyed it and town is not too far away.
